The definition of a sense of belonging, for the purpose of this study can be a multitude of directions, the definition of a sense of belonging can inhabit several different environments. The definition of a 'sense of belonging' is not one, rather many. It is not just an association with a container of occupants (home) or tangible architecture or material form, but a set of events, spirits, and memories. While this materiality occurs for some in a fixed location, others seek a sense of belonging and attachment in objects. This research examines the concept of 'sense of belonging' in reference to an awfully vulnerable and nomadic lifestyles adopted by street children. The interest in this research grew from a personal experience of having a sense of belonging to a certain place, people and then moving away from all those and finding new belongings which get attached unconsciously. This study examines the activities and experiences of street children in order to understand their feeling of belonging to a place, object or a person.
