Autorenporträt
Rose Impey has written more than a hundred children's books, including the bestselling Sleepover Club series. Rose taught in a primary school in Leicester and her experience of telling stories as a teacher led her to write for children. She has been shortlisted for the Smarties Children's Book Prize and the Roald Dahl Funny prize, and her books have been published in over eight countries. Peter Bailey was born in India and grew up in London. Since graduating from the Brighton School of Art, his extraordinary career has seen him illustrate books by some of Britain's best-known authors and poets, including Allan Ahlberg and Alexander McCall Smith. For twenty years he also taught illustration at the Liverpool School of Art.
