Autorenporträt
Since the first time Norma grabbed a crayon, art has been part of her identity. At the age of 12, she started her classical training as an artist, at the Martin A. Malharro Superior School of Visual Arts, in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Norma dreamed of moving to the US since she was little. Her dream became a reality when she moved to California at 22 years old. After four years at age 26 she started her own business as an Architectural Illustrator, and went on to work for some of the largest firms in the US. Currently she has turned her talents to author and illustrate children's booksFor the last ten years she has also been teaching art at an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. Through the free expression of art, the healing process begins, helping the kids to overcome their difficult circumstances. Emma's Dream is the product of Norma's journey with these orphans, and it tells a story of hope. Encouraging words from someone who lived a similar experience as an orphan can ignite a beautiful Hope!
