Full-throttle dieselpunk adventure! A wild adventure ride packed with non-stop action, intrigue, extraordinary creatures and memorable characters. Great fun! - Michael Gerard Bauer What a sensational ride Pangea is . . . as it twists and turns, careers around wild unexpected corners from the very start, yet is consummately controlled by the invisible strings of [Henderson's] narration. I love the synthesis of every conceivable thing in the mix - hints of Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, epic classical heroes (á la Raiders of the Lost Ark), legends and myths, esoterica, science, para-science, geology, geography, anthropology, history, social iconography, bread and circuses, time travel and . . . Freddy! - Kingsley AllenHinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Born and raised on Yorke Peninsula - the ill-shaped leg that supports Australia - Don Henderson, in cahoots with his siblings and army of cousins, knew few boundaries, and, from an early age, developed a quirky sense of adventure. Don worked as a roustabout in woolsheds and as a stock agent before enrolling at The University of Adelaide, where he majored in English Literature. He taught high school English in South Australia, Victoria, Arnhem Land, and Japan. He indulged his passion for writing in various ways, most notably as the founder, editor, and sole scribe of the Tarcoola Times, and, later, as a sports writer for the Whyalla News. After attending a conference where the speaker lamented the lack of high interest books for boys he wrote Half the Battle (2006) and Keepinitreal (2009), published by Scholastic. A third novel, Macbeth, You Idiot! (2009), was published by Penguin.
