Dr. Carey Pahel enjoyed a successful career as an audiologist. After his recent retirement, he embarked on a second career as an author of children's books. Carey and his wife Nancy, both natives of Pennsylvania, reside in Greensboro, North Carolina. They enjoy spending time with their grown children and chasing their eight young grandchildren. Carey also enjoys outdoor sports, travel, and being involved with his church and community. Carey's other books include I Wish I Had an Otter, Rufus the Mild-Mannered Bull: Rufus Saves the Day, and Rufus the Mild-Mannered Bull: Follow that Star.
