Jason Mayer spent the first part of his adult life as a Marine Corps Combat Correspondent covering stories on five continents and more than 50 countries. After leaving the Marine Corps, he spent eight years working with a government contractor supervising the development of more than 200 annual publishing projects. Today, Jason is an owner and partner in a number of companies including a construction company that designs, sells, and manages specialty construction projects and a publishing company that specializes in community newcomer and business guides. He has degrees in Communications and Business Management and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Jason lives in Columbia, Missouri with his wife Angela and two boys, Noah and Caleb.
