She is the author of Mémoire en dérive and articles on twentieth-century French and Francophone literature. William VanderWolk is Professor of French at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. He is the author of Flaubert Remembers (Peter Lang, 1990), Rewriting the Past: Memory, History and Narration in the Novels of Patrick Modiano, and articles on nineteenth- and twentieth-century French literature.
