With its beautiful natural landscapes, its blend of European and indigenous culture, its two official languages (Spanish and Guarani) and its colonial architecture, the country is a great place to explore Latin America's nature, history and culture away from the crowds of tourists. Paraguay still proudly treasures its indigenous past. The Guarani language is spoken by a large part of the population along with Spanish. In this way we see marks of Guarani culture in all artistic areas mixed with the customs brought by the Spanish colonizers.
