One of the most important applications that can benefit from parallel processing on smartphones is steganography, because information security is considered as indispensable subject as a result of the massive evolution of communication, the thing which makes us running complex algorithms to get best results. So in this work two parallel steganography applications, that work on android platform, were developed. In the first application shuffled frog leaping algorithm was implemented in parallel manner to search for the best positions where the secret data can be embedded. In the second application a proposed method was used to get pseudorandom positions that depend on the idea of the Ancient Egyptian Multiplication to embed the secret data. Parallel processing was used in many positions in this app. One of these positions was to get the pseudorandom positions and encrypt the secret text at the same time. In this work a new proposed method was used to embed secret data (text and image) in sketch drawing, which created as a cover of the secret data in a way that does not raise suspicion.
