Many studies have shown that the disease has been established in the animal population and it may remain a barrier to trade livestock product out of the country.Recently the disease has been linked to Crohn's Disease of Human which has a Public Health importance. Strict quarantine, culling of sick ones and strict biosecurity of farms may aid in disease curtailment. Though,many tests are available,the fecal culture is only the gold standard test in the disease diagnosis.Author is the first person to isolate the bacteria from fecal culture in the laboratory of NARC,under the reference of Dr.Upendra Man Singh,the Senior Scientists of NARC, Nepal.The book will be a guide to further researcher.

Dr.Gompo has been working as a Veterinary Officer for Government of Nepal since 2010.He has completed B.V.Sc & A.H.degree from Tribhuvan University in 2008 and worked as a Technical Officer and Poultry Practitioner in a Animal Feed Company at Pokhara for 2 years.
