A general consensus has been reached, then, in which family participation in school should actually imply a partnership between family, school and community, due to the fact that it is these three spaces that influence the learning, adaptation and development of students, and that is why they cannot be separated. Likewise, this literature review has allowed identifying the theoretical models that account for those dimensions in which the family and the school must be involved in order to work cooperatively, for the purposes described above (Maylli, 2014).
