Despite the recognition of parental influences on adolescents sexual behaviors in most societies (Chege, 2005), less attention has been given to the link between parental involvements dimensions with adolescent's sexual behavior to promote health reproductive sexual behavior and reduced risk taking behaviors of adolescents. This thesis therefore examines the relationships between parental involvement dimensions (parent-adolescent communication, parental monitoring, and parenting styles) and adolescent's sexual behavior in three secondary school students (grade 9th through grade 12) in Debre Markos Town. The study employs simple random sampling technique to draw 486 adolescents (236 males and 250 females) from a target population of 5247 students stratifying across sex and grade level with proportional allocation method. An exploratory, descriptive research design was used to collect data using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using calculations of descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, Independent samples t test, one way ANOVA and Multiple regression analysis.
