Problems related to deviant behavior of adolescents in the school environment are becoming more and more worrisome. Education stakeholders, concerned about the extent of these behaviors, are wondering how to deal with them. With this in mind, research was conducted to highlight the link between parental education and deviant behavior observed in society in general and in the school environment in particular, starting with the case of the Don Bosco vocational school in Cotonou. The results of this research were obtained using a mixed-methods approach, conducted on a sample of eighty (80) individuals. The administration of questionnaires, semi-directive interviews and observations reveal the existence of deviant behaviors in the school environment, such as sexual deviations, language deviations, drug use, violence, school indiscipline, disobedience, etc. These behaviors are likely to be the result of a defect or lack of parental supervision. It is therefore necessary to rethink basic education in order to better support children in their schooling. Key words : Zogbo (Benin), Education, Indiscipline, Sexual deviations, Adolescence.
