Autorenporträt
A proud Bay Stater, Lou DeLena was born in Boston and raised in Medford. He is a graduate of Medford High School (sometime last century) and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Suffolk University. He has worked as a radio announcer (back when they used records), technical writer (before the big outsourcing crunch) and is currently a Procurement Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is an avid photographer and a collector of affordable sports ephemera (no Babe Ruth autographs or Honus Wagner cards, but I do have a 2006 Kansas City Royals media guide...or is it 2002?). Lou's other loves include American History, the Maine coast, the writings of Jack Kerouac, and anything edible, as long as it isn't lima beans or liver. Lou shares a home with his loving and ever-patient wife Donna and their mechanical parrot Chirpy. They split their time between Malden, MA and South Thomaston, ME.
