Sustainable environmental management requires maintaining the socio-economic living condition of local community in addition to biodiversity conservation. However, most of the time conservationist gives priority for biological aspect at the expense of human/social aspect. conserving nature in this way only promote park-people conflict or it affect both resource users and natural resource itself. Thus, this study shows how the natural resource management which lacks local community involvement leads to disastrous life for both local community and natural resource of the study area. Besides, it shows the socio-economic factors forcing local community to relay on natural resource of the study area. The study used for policy makers to consider the socio-economic living condition of local community in formulating policies and strategies used for natural resource management.
