Marybeth Wishart, author, is a retired special education teacher who taught for over thirty-four years at both the elementary and high school levels. "Parker Discovers the Blues" is her second published children's book in the Parker series, which she is delighted to share with kids and adults, in the hope that it will make a difference. Marybeth is a Connecticut native now living in South Carolina with her husband of over forty-five years. She enjoys writing children's stories, grandparenting, book clubs, pickleball, church and community activities, and collecting heart rocks on her various travels.
