Participatory management is a current discourse in management and panacea for dismal performance in schools.The author posits that it is through participatory management that the school Principals are able to achieve their pre-determined goals.She reiterates that the role of the head of any institution should be that of a facilitator,a role model,monitor and offer room for dialogue to both the teachers and learners in order to excel.The book argues that excellence in school entails hands on experience and being sensitive to working environment,proper time management,good discipline and mutual respect among other virtues. The book concludes that the evolving role of head of any given institution calls for flexibility and involvement of all stakeholders.The more entropy the institution is, the more chaotic it would be.All leaders should thus embrace excellence at all times.
