Special appreciation to my supervisor, professor Emmanuel Boon for making this work into shape. Community members in Kiwengwa and Pongwe village deserve special thanks. My colleagues at VUB provided useful input that made this work this valuable. To all them I say 'SHUKRAN'This work produced useful findings about willingness to pay and benefit for community from natural resources amangement. It is recommended that one can implenet what is recommended from this work for the benefit of the community at large. The government can also use the findings of this work to inform the policy on benefit sahring which is somehow outdated. Other organisation may also use the information to inform and compare their findings with similar sennarios. The approach used to analys WTP can be critised and be improved further if any reseracher wants to challenge it.
