Work, partnership relation, and health, are three major life domains that form the basis of our lives. These three factors constantly influence each other. Relationship influence the commitment we show at work and vice versa. Concurrently, these two factors, work and relations, influence our health. Daily life hazels, from work or relations, exert the most negative influences upon health. Although early signs of stress are diffuse, the mobilization of chronic stress disrupts psychological and physiological functioning. These results reveal several important issues concerning factors that buffer the effects that work stress has upon health. One of these buffering factors is affective state. Positive affect buffers stress effects on health, while negative affect has the completely opposite effect. Another buffering factor is high partnership relation quality. A high level of partnership relation quality, as well as sexual life satisfaction, may also function as a buffer against thenegative effects that work related stress exercise on our health.
