Satya Pattanaik has published two collections of poetry in Odia (Pasanara Prema Sangeeta - Bharat Bharati, Cuttack and Jharka Khola Thau - Paschima Publication, Bhubaneswar) and two translation collections of world literature in Odia (Kshyudragalpara Mrutyu O Anyanya Galpa and Ama Nijara Mati O Anyanya Kabita - Paschima Publication, Bhubaneswar). He edits Odia literary magazine 'Pratishruti' from USA. To propagate Indian literature globally he manages a non-profit publishing initiative BLACK EAGLE BOOKS (www.blackeaglebooks.org) with a focus in republication of classic and contemporary literature, managing translation projects, providing editing and other literary services to the writers.
