The purpose of this research was to evaluate the sustainability of the drinking water supply system in the Paso Ancho community in the municipality of Estelí. The method used is observational, according to its philosophical approach it is quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive. The PROPILAS (Water and Sanitation Pilot Project) methodology was used, which gathered information in the field through formats, in order to determine whether the drinking water system is sustainable in the current demand. As a result of the review of the state of the system, it was found that it has been modified, has problems in pipes, storage basin, electrical demand control and difficulties in the water supply to the community due to the lack of continuity of the service, causing dissatisfaction among the users.
