Wisdom Martin is a veteran television news journalist and anchor with more than 30 years of experience covering news and sports. He started out covering college football at Jackson and SEC sports in Mississippi before heading West to cover Fresno State basketball in Fresno, California. He later moved East to North Carolina where he covered University of North Carolina football and basketball. Later when he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, he continued to cover sports with his coverage of the Tennessee Titans Super Bowl. Wisdom later moved to Washington, D.C. where he covered the Washington Nationals and the World Series run of the Nationals, as well as Michael "Air" Jordan's last season with the Washington Wizards. Wisdom went on to cover George Mason University's basketball run to the final 4, Maryland Lady Terps championship run, as well as Washington's football team. During his career span Wisdom has covered a variety of news stories including Civil Rights issues with the arrest and conviction of Byron De La Beckwith, the convicted murderer of NAACP Field Secretary, Medgar Evers.
