Autorenporträt
Tian Yuan Tan (Ph.D., Harvard University) is Reader in Chinese Studies at SOAS, University of London. His publications include Songs of Contentment and Transgression: Discharged Officials and Literati Communities in Sixteenth-Century North China (2010) and a critical edition of Kang Hai's sanqu (2011). Paolo Santangelo, Professor of History of East Asia at Sapienza University, Roma, has published on social, intellectual and anthropological history of Late Imperial China.
