It is well known that solar power production is maximum through solar panels when the sun is perpendicular to the solar panel. It is well known that solar power production is maximum through solar panels when the sun is perpendicular to the solar panel. A number of solar tracking electronic devices have been made to align the solar panel with the sun. But they consume power and effectively power generation is not efficient. It is desired to make a solar panel tracker which does not consume power. So the aim of this work is to develop a system that can efficiently track the sun's movement without the use of any external power source. This project utilizes a passive solar tracker that adjusts the angle of the solar panel to maximize the absorption of solar energy. The book focuses on the design and fabrication of a mechanism that can automatically track the sun's movement using a simple and low-cost mechanism. The book includes the development of a control system that can accurately determine the sun's position and adjust the solar panel's angle accordingly. The objective is to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for harvesting solar energy in areas where the cost of energy is high, and access to electricity is limited.
