The Author, a British priest, for over thirty years has been living in Italy, at first in a little hamlet tucked away in the Umbrian mountains and more recently in the city of Saints Francis and Clare, Assisi. He has written books and various articles of spirituality focused on the Eucharist, which he regards as the sacrament of friendship par excellence.
