Over the last two decades, new imaging techniques have provided a better understanding of aortic pathologies, which are largely dominated by atheroma and its complications. Thanks to them, therapeutics have become more efficient and above all more appropriate. Redha Lakehal and Jalaleddinne Omar Bouhidel are university lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine of Constantine 03 and Batna 02 in Algeria respectively.They are members of learned societies, PhDs, and authors of numerous articles in preclinical and clinical research.
