Melissa Ralph grew up on a farm and lived close to her grandparents on both her mother's and father's sides, developing a love for her elders while enjoying their company. She attended the nearby Presbyterian church and dedicated her life to Christ at age fifteen which led her to a calling in nursing. Her faith brought her blessings along the way in obtaining an ADN-RN in March 1993, BSN in June 1997, and an MBA in business health administration in March 2012, which introduced her to a love of writing. After she graduated with an MBA, she met her husband, Jim and they have been married for eleven wonderful years. She served in the nursing field for over thirty-two years. During her nursing career, Melissa has had opportunities to take care of terminally ill patients and offer them support while providing comfort to their families. Through her firsthand experiences, she learned about the dying process, and with the spiritual support of her faith, was able to carry others through their challenging times. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a love for music and golf. She hopes that this book will draw readers closer to God and ignite their faith in times of need. She aims to help address the lingering questions about death and dying and desires to share the Good News of God's unconditional love, especially the gift of salvation, and eternal life through Christ.
