Karen Ann Thompson M.S., RN has been a nurse since 1984. She received her Bachelors of Science from UTMB School of Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing (Nurse Administration) from the University of Houston. As a Native Houstonian, she still lives in the city and works as a staff nurse in surgical services at a local hospital. She hopes one day to obtain a research position outside of the hospital. In her free time, Karen Thompson enjoys yoga, strength training, baking, and spending time with her three grown children and three grandchildren.
