Pathways to Intimacy with God is made up of seven chapters. In Chapters one and two, simplifies the principles of leadership, followership and discipleship and made it clear how people should apply them for good results. it makes the reader to see the need to be good followers to become good leaders. As Christ's disciples, there is no end to submitting ourselves for discipling and to effectively disciple those we are mentoring. Emphasising the need for growth to become mentors to many through hard work as we are enabled by our Lord Jesus Christ. Initiative, courage, inspiration, determination and leading by example are the inevitable qualities a good leader must possess while the follower must be absolutely loyal. Chapter three deals with man's spiritual headship of the Christian home and the need for the wife to submit and support her husband. It is clear that man- the husband takes responsibility for matters in his home as far as God is concerned. Hence, Adam was made to answer for his home after eating the fruit God forbade them despite Eve eating first. (Gen. 3:1-24). Chapter four clearly defines what foxes that destroy believers are and emphasized on the need to get rid of them before they derail us out of faith. Numerous examples from the bible, of victims of uncontrolled foxes, taught ways to overcome any fox wanting to infest us. In chapter five explains why, when and how to give to God to receive rewards in return. The author differentiated seed from bread and explained that the seed is the item for sowing while God also increase the seed sown to become bread for our sustenance. Chapter six taught on God's love as Christmas message and how to give it to the needy world. The author cited the story of a lady who was only able to lead her father to Christ through love and not anger. Here, he detailed the costs and benefits from loving and then concluded the book 'Pathways to Intimacy with God' with a great appeal to all believers over the world, to work in unity and oneness of purpose to enable us get there at the end of age. I want to conclude by appealing to everyone who comes across this book not only to read it, but buy for other persons, groups and churches, to let the entire globe benefit from the great teachings in 'Pathways to Intimacy with God' to help revive the church of God again in our time.
