Artie Mabbett is an avid fly-fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He grew up hiking and fishing in the beautiful New England mountains and forests. Throughout his life, he has always gone searching for that magical fishing spot, but has come to realize that it is not about the spot; it is the journey and the loved ones you share it with that make it magical. On a recent fishing trip with Artie's best friend and partner (a.k.a. his wife), they stumbled upon a few Palomino trout while fishing. Intrigued by the history of this fish and dreaming of the day their newborn son could join them on these adventures, Patty the Palomino was conceived.
