The author's main purpose is to assess the Nigerian Charismatic Movement in the light of 1 Corinthians 12 and thus, to submit their experiences to the test of biblical text. Consequently, the basic task will be the interpretation and analysis of the term Charisma and the study of its usage in secular and religious literature. Hence, the methods employed are textual criticism and sentence structure analysis. In addition, various hermeneutical procedures and divergent presuppositions will lead to different remarks and conclusions.
Autorenporträt
The Author: Rev. Dr. Luke Ndubuisi was born in Ibadan/Nigeria. He obtained his first degrees in Philosophy in 1984 and in Theology in 1988 from Bigard Memorial Seminary, Ikot Ekpene and Enugu, respectively. At Eichstätt University, he got his Lic. theol. after which he obtained his Doctorate degree at the Faculty of Theology, University of Munich, in 2002.
