Autorenporträt
Marvin Dixon's debut novel Settlement was published in 2019 and was the first book in the Justin Kell series. Inspired by his experiences in financial services the series continued with Payback, Redemption and Brotherly Love. Fool's Gold is book 5 and continues the story of Kell which is set during the Covid pandemic. Now retired from financial services and focussing on his writing, Marvin Dixon lives in West Yorkshire. 'For some time, I'd had the idea about writing a story that was set during Covid. In a way, I wanted to reference those dark days whilst I also had a few thoughts on how those times could assist with the plot. Thus, the story begins at the start of 2020. Now before you Covid experts start getting hot under the collar, whilst some of the detail of the Covid restrictions is accurate, some is not. Just like this tale they are fiction. I hope you will forgive me for taking such liberties and it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of the next step in the chronicle of the lives of Kell and Molly.' -Marvin Dixon
