She has written numerous pioneering articles on PCOS for international newspapers and magazines and has contributed greatly to raising awareness of this condition and the need to improve treatment and understanding for women who have it. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences and women's groups exploring PCOS. Theresa Cheung is a freelance writer, teacher, health consultant and mum who was diagnosed with PCOS in 1997 when she was trying to conceive. With the help of fertility treatment she has extended her family and is now a mother of two.
