If we look closely, the challenges faced by African countries overlap. Security instability with a high human toll, endemic poverty, the failure of governments to provide comprehensive education, political instability, cynicism of political authorities, the list is hardly exhaustive. Certainly, this work focuses mainly on the situation of Congo-Kinshasa, tracing its dark background, enamelled with both physical and sexual lethal violence... The other characteristics of African countries mentioned above are found in Congo-Kinshasa and constitute a common denominator for African countries, particularly those south of the Sahara. The challenge is certainly to make the sons and daughters of the Congo, of Africa and of all humanity understand that peace and security cannot be built on masquerades, lies, hatred and complicity. We are all, each at our own level, responsible for what obstructs peace and security in our world. The situation in the D.R.C. and in other countries of the world must lead us to a thought that leads to action.
