Environmental Education is cardinal to addressing environmental degradation and ensuring environmental sustainability. The main question here is that that how environmental education as a type of peace education can contribute to environmental sustainability? A question that is the main core of this writing which try to provide an illustration of a working model to settle environment-driven peace threatening factors.

Mahdi Karimi is a PhD candidate in Political geography at TMU and also a visiting student at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. His PhD dissertation is about "Explanation of the peace building pattern in geographical regions; a case study of Europe Union Region". Zahra Ahmadipor is a professor of political geography at TMU.
