Europe is now at the crossroads. It has to decide: Is it going to become a second superpower? Or, and this is our vision, European integration could be the start of a long lasting peace within the continent as well as for a peaceful behaviour with its neighbours. If Europe wants to become a force of peace it is necessary to develop a culture of peace with peace education as a cornerstone.
