He earned a BA from Beloit College and a MSEd from Northern Illinois University. Strauss lives in Rochester, Minnesota. David Harrington recalls studying picture books and drawing at a young age. Since receiving a BFA with honors from the Art Center College of Design, he has illustrated numerous children's books. Harrington lives with his wife and children in Laguna Hills, California.
