Elaborating the importance of laboratory work in teaching of chemistry at senior secondary stage of schooling, this book attempts to analyze the relevance of prescribed chemistry laboratory experiments in the existing syllabus. Based on an exploratory study of designing and transacting some specific laboratory activities as well as assessing the impact of the same on students' achievement, the present work accentuates the importance of laboratory activities in chemistry education and puts forth some insights generated during this process.
