The objective of the book is to help Geographers and those in related Social and Applied Social Scientific disciplines, possibly extending as far as Tourism, Business and Management, develop their own discipline-based pedagogic research and pedagogic-research methods that are tailored to the needs of their discipline, and also to think about what their discipline offers to the larger arena of pedagogic research. This book is a compilation of articles from various issues of the Journal of Geography in Higher Education.

The editors are active members of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Geography in Higher Education (JGHE) and active researchers in their own right. In recent years they have been leading the development of the JGHE's Pedagogic Research strand and this volume represents the best of the results of this work
