The author has the unique privilege of having produced over twenty PhDs in English language & linguistics and twice as many successful M Phil scholars in the areas of linguistics and literature. He has taught literature and linguistics for more than thirty years at graduate and post-graduate levels in both public and private institutions of higher education in Pakistan.

Dr Zafar Iqbal obtained his PhD in clinical cancer genetics and post-doctoral training in functional genomics of hematological malignancies. He has published more than 100 articles and abstracts in ISI-indexed journals with international awards. He supervised many PhD and masters students and his groups has discovered some novel leukemic genes.
