Physiotherapy is a new profession compared to some others. Its teaching in Brazil was born in the 1950s. This work is based on my Doctoral Research in Education carried out at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and defended in 2010. In it, it is possible to see the evolution of physiotherapy teaching in Brazil over the years and its three curricula emanating from MEC resolutions. It is also possible to see how the Pedagogical Projects of the courses in the North region are in relation to the National Curricular Guidelines.
