This research is related to the Pedagogical Formation and the Teaching Exercise at Escola Superior Negócios e Empreendedorismo de Chibuto. The objective is to explore, from an academic perspective, the perceptions of teachers and students of Higher Education the influence of teachers' pedagogical training on teaching - learning activity. This need arose from the observation that teachers who carry out teaching activity in Higher Education had a weak pedagogical training, although, implicitly, the National Regulation of Higher Education guides that teachers are endowed with scientific and pedagogical knowledge. Similarly, the Internal Regulations of the Eduardo Mondlane-ESNEC University, postulate that the trainee assistant (graduate or master) should not go to the classroom to teach, before he went through a process of psycho-pedagogical training. This research was developed because he considered that it was relevant since it allowed the understanding of the complexity of the teaching profession since it is not restricted only to scientific training, it also goes through pedagogical training.
