Penny Ann es una ávida lectora de ficción, escritora y graduada de la escuela de la vida. Comenzó a escribir Peddlers en 1987 y se dejó de lado durante treinta y tres años, hasta que su esposo falleció en 2019. Una creyente en la idea de que "la vida es lo que está sucediendo mientras soñamos con lo que queremos hacer con ella", Penny desempolvó su manuscrito y finalmente hizo realidad su sueño. Peddlers es el primero de una serie; actualmente está trabajando en la secuela, que se llamará Havanna.
