Chris Koutures, MD, FAAP is American Board of Pediatrics certified in both pediatrics and sports medicine and practices both specialties at Gladstien & Koutures in Anaheim Hills, California. He is the medical team physician for the USA Volleyball Men's and Women's National Teams and attended the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is also the team physician for California State University, Fullerton Intercollegiate Athletics, Orange Lutheran High School, and Chapman University Dance Department. He recently completed a 6-year elected term on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness. Dr. Koutures regularly mentors and teaches pediatric residents, medical students, and athletic training students along with speaking at regional and national conferences on sports medicine topics. Valarie Wong, MD, FAAP is currently an assistant professor at Loma Linda University in Southern California. Her practice consists of both sports medicine as well as general pediatric patients. Dr. Wong is American Board of Pediatrics certified in pediatrics and sports medicine. She completed her sports medicine fellowship at Jersey Shore Medical Center and Rutgers University. Dr. Wong received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and finished her pediatric residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cell biology at the University of California, San Diego.
