Produktbeschreibung
Pedro's Story is a research project that explores, through a biographical-narrative approach, the subjective and social trajectory of a young man with disabilities, institutionalized in a 24-hour center of the State Protection System after losing family care. This study does not address all the issues involved in the loss of care, entry into the system and restitution of rights, but emphasizes the subjective and social trajectories of children and adolescents with disabilities who are in 24-hour protection and foster care institutions. In this sense, from the biographical-narrative approach, the disability dimension is approached from the mediations of the social model, trying to deepen the link between the internment, its impact and the diagnosis or assessment of the disability situation, through the narrative of a young person with disabilities who has spent most of his life in protection and foster care centers.
