The 2000 census found 7,776 people in the township, including 4,433 people in the village of Waverly, and 3,343 in the unincorporated portions of the township. The village of Waverly, the county seat of Pike County, is located in eastern Pee Pee Township. The 429-acre (1.74 km2) Lake White State Park is also located in this township. Pee Pee Township is 32.4 square miles (84 km2) in size, including 0.69 square miles (1.8 km2) of water and 3.92 square miles (10.2 km2) within the village limits of Waverly.
