This study was undertaken to find out the relationship that exists between peer support and self-esteem of selected university students in Cameroon. The study also investigated the moderation effects of grit and the mediating effects of life satisfaction on that relationship. The data in this study were analyzed using SPSS PROCESS macro. The results showed that 'peer support, self-esteem, life satisfaction and grit were all significantly positively correlated to each other. Further results revealed that life satisfaction significantly but partially mediated the link between students' peer support and their self-esteem and that grit moderated this mediating effect of life satisfaction. The findings suggest that students' life satisfaction and grit are important traits or characteristics that help in boosting students' self-esteem.
