Pelophylax lateralis is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, plantations , and irrigated land. It is not considered threatened by the IUCN.The true frogs, family Ranidae, have the widest distribution of any frog family.
