The Peloponnese Wall Lizard (Podarcis peloponnesiaca) is a species of lizard in the Lacertidae family. It is endemic to Greece. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, arable land, pastureland, plantations , and rural gardens. It is threatened by habitat loss. Lacertidae is the family of the wall lizards, true lizards, or sometimes simply lacertas, which are native to Europe, Africa, and Asia. The group includes the genus Lacerta, which contains some of the most commonly seen lizard species in Europe.
