Pemberton Hall is a historic home located at Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. It is a 1 1 2-story, three-bay, Flemish bond brick house with a gambrel roof. The construction date of "1741" is scratched in a brick above the side door. One of Isaac Handy's (d. 1763), builder of Pemberton Hall, five sons was George Handy (1756 1820), a charter member of the Society of the Cincinnati. During the American Civil War, the Hall was the home of Allison Parsons, a Southern sympathizer, who insisted on firing a cannon upon the receipt of news of each Confederate victory.
